Some commercial beer drinkers may figure that they are drinking the best

The malt needs to be fresh, no less than 18 months to use by. The hops should preferably be fibrous and sticky in the can indicating that fresh hops have been employed by the manufacturer. Goodies like corn syrups and extra malt add body head retention and improve mouth feel. Extra malt also adds flavour and sweetness. Cane sugar produces cidery acidic brews. Dextrose is a better choice than sugar.
The six quality must haves are
1. Fresh malt.
2. Fresh hops.
3. A suitable high temperature yeast.
4. Quality goodies .
5. A proper cleaner.
6. Good water.
